While the schools do provide children with free and reduced-cost breakfast and lunch, some children don't have enough to eat over the weekend and come to school on monday hungry. The Seneca Falls BackPack Program was created to fill this need.
we currently operate as a food pantry that is open to all families with children in the seneca Falls School District. This includes Head start, UPK, and out-of-district placements.
Seneca Falls BackPack Program works in conjunction with FOODLINK of rochester to provide nutritious foods to school age children and their families.
